HIV PsychiatryThe Medical Psychiatry consultation in HIV provides care to people living with HIV who also have mental health concerns. Learn moreTreatment modalities include comprehensive psychiatric care, psychopharmacology and short-term psychotherapeutic services. The service provides integrated mental health outreach services in the Positive Care Clinic (PCC) at St. Michael's Hospital, at Casey House Hospice, primary care at 410 Sherbourne Health Centre and Maple Leaf Clinic and has a partnership with community organizations such as Fife House and McEwan House. Memory ClinicProvide comprehensive assessment and follow up of older adults experiencing changes in memory and cognition. Patients referred to the clinic receive comprehensive cognitive screening, diagnostic imaging and are given the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of research studies. Eligibility criteria Individuals usually 55 years old and older with dementia, or with new onset of cognitive impairment where the diagnosis is unclear, presentations are unusual or cognitive difficulties may be related to psychiatric disorder, complex medical problems or drug interactions. How to access the service To access St. Michael’s Mental Health Ambulatory and Community Mental Health Programs a patient referral form must be completed by a family physician and faxed to 416-864-3091.
