Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Testing is performed every Wednesday in the Special Coagulation laboratory, by appointment only. Appointments are to be booked at extension 5123. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Stability: Specimens are stable for 3 hours post collection at room temperature. Sample Rejection Criteria: Clotted sample, grossly hemolyzed samples, unlabeled or samples with insufficient quantity will be rejected. |
