Reference Value

Following ablation: < 1.0 ug/L

Normal population: 3.50 - 77.00 ug/L

Test Utilization

A reflex system has been developed such that if Anti-Tg is significantly elevated, no thyroglobulin level will be reported. The Anti-Tg threshold for diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease is different than for assay interference. At UHT, there is potential for Anti-Tg interference with the thyroglobulin assay at levels >20 kIU/L. Please contact the core lab x5082 if you have an exceptional circumstance that warrants repeat testing or if you have any questions
