Specimen Handling Collection Instructions: Collect sample in Lavendar top tube. Invert tube 5-6 times gently after collection. Record time of collection and time of last dose. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label or requisition. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Specimens must be mixed thoroughly after thawing to ensure consistency of results. Do not use heat-inactivated samples.
