Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect Random Urine in a small sterile orange cap container. Indicate date and time of Collection. · Includes free kappa and free lambda quantitation. ·24h urine collection preferred. ·Testing will not be done if urine protein is less than 0.03 g/L. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Create an aliquot from the sample and Centrifuge before placing on automation line using the bypass rack. Sample Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled or leaking specimen will be rejected Stability: Stable refrigerated for 14 days at 2-8°C. Transportation: Send sample to core lab ASAP |
