Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect random sample in a sterile container. 10 mL urine in screw cap container. Includes Cocaine metabolite, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Opiates, Amphetamines, Oxycodone, Cannabinoids,Fentanyl Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label or requisition. Special Instructions Centrifuge all urine samples before analysis. Samples should be within the normal physiological pH range of 5-8. Rejection Criteria Unlabeled, Leaky or Not Sufficient Quantity Samples will be rejected. Stability: Stable in tightly capped container refrigerated at 2-8°C for 1 week and frozen at -20°C or colder for 2 weeks. Transportation:Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
