Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect sample in a red top tube or plasma EDTA. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions Separate from cells within 2 hours of collection. Store and send frozen. Rejection Criteria: Gel seperator, unlabeled or samples of non sufficient quantity. Stability: Stable at room temperature for 14 days, refrigerated for 28 days and Frozen for 60 days. Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
