Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Serum collected in red top without gel separator. Submit trough specimen collected 1 h prior to the next dose or at least 12 h after the last dose. Assay includes Nordoxepin Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label or requisition. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Separate samples from cells as soon as possible. Repeated freezing and thawing of samples should be avoided. Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled or samples of non sufficient quantity. Stability: Separated from cells stable for 5 days at room temperature, refrigerated 2 weeks, frozen 6 months. Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
