Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect sample in red top tube. Avoid gel-separator tube. Submit trough specimen (i.e. collected within 1 hour prior to next dose or at least 12 hours after last dose). Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions Separate from cells as soon as possible. Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled or samples of non sufficient quantity. Stability: Sample is stable for 5 days at room temperature, 14 days refrigerated and 6 months frozen Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
