Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect serum in red top tube without gel separator. Avoid gel separator tubes. Collect trough level prior to next dose. Indicate date and time of last dose and date and time of specimen collection on the requisition. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Separate from cells within 2 hours of collection. Store and send frozen. Rejection Criteria: EDTA Plasma, gel-separator tubes. Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
