Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect sample in gold or red top with or without gel separator serum. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions Specimen must be labelled properly. Spin and sperate as soon and possible and send refrigrated Rejection Criteria: Grossly hemolyzed, lipemic, Unlabeled or Not Sufficient Quantity Samples will be rejected. Stability Stable for 14 days at 2-8°C and more than 14 days frozen at or below -20 °C. Avoid repeat freeze/Thaw cycles Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
