Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect sample in gold or red top tube with or without gel separator serum. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Specimen must be labelled properly. Spin and sperate as soon and possible and send refrigrated Rejection Criteria: Grossly hemolyzed, lipemic, Unlabeled or Not Sufficient Quantity Samples will be rejected. Stability Stable for 14 days at 2-8°C and more than 14 days frozen at or below -20 °C. Avoid repeat freeze/Thaw cycles Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
