Specimen HandlingCollection Instructions: Collect sample in gold top (SST) tube. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Sperate as soon as possible and send refrigrated. ANASC panel includes ENASC, APTUS and Anti-Centromere Antibodies. Rejection Criteria: Grossly hemolyzed, lipemic, Unlabeled or Not Sufficient Quantity samples will be rejected. Avoid repeat freeze/Thaw cycles. Stability: Stable refrigerated at 2-8°C for 14 days and frozen at or below -20°C for more than 14 days. Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible. |
