Stability: Urine is stable at room temperature for 4hrs, refrigerated for 1 week and frozen for 3 months (avoid freeze thaw cycles). Transportation: Send sample to core lab ASAP. Special Instructions Random urine collected in sterile container mid morning after voiding and discarding first morning urine sample. Sample Rejection Criteria: Urine collected with acid / alkaline or leaking specimen will be rejected. |
