Discharge survey volunteers

At St. Michael’s, we strive to ensure that we provide the best possible patient and caregiver experience. We gather feedback from patients, families and caregivers in multiple ways so that we can better understand what is important to patients and use this information to drive change through quality improvement. 

We have immediate openings for discharge experience survey volunteers to assist with the collection of patient feedback via short telephone surveys. In this four hour a week position, you will assist with gathering feedback from patients about their hospital stay through a short telephone survey. To date, 98 per cent of patients contacted indicate that these surveys have made a positive impact on their experience with St. Michael’s. Hours are Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and can be flexible based on availability.

Note: this volunteering takes place on site at St. Michael’s Hospital from Monday - Friday, during business hours. For privacy reasons, the calls must be made from the hospital.
