Research

Breakthroughs in care for heart patients can only come from research studies. Advances in preventing further heart disease have been made in recent years through important studies. Without patients who are generous enough to participate in these studies, new breakthroughs would not occur.

Our evaluations of new methods, techniques and drug routines for patients with coronary heart disease help us in the fight against the number one cause of death in Canadian women and men. Our research teams are committed to discovering better treatments for you and your family members.

Much of our research goes beyond the realm of prevention of coronary heart disease and includes other areas, including electrophysiology, heart failure, gene therapy, women's health and acute cardiology trials.
